Reviews
Tiny hole in the wall and you just have to be lucky to walk by when they are open for that small window. Finally got to try the pandan ube and black sesame cheesecake and they were excellent. A little different style to regular say NYC style or even Basque - it's a bit more wet inside. Overall, good flavor and would be curious to try their savory foods as well. 2024.01.12
Amazing sweets and considerate owners!! Thanks for making such impressive Asian flavors. I stayed an extra day in NY just to try their foods and it was truly worth it! Definitely will come back next time I visit NYC!!! Take care❤️
Came here for the first time and I tried nasi lemak for $13. Was expecting more, but it was just alright. Haven't tried the kuih, so will go back and try them some time. The place is small, there are some outdoor seatings. It's a small family owned business. Menu changes every weekend.
Going to kuih has become my routine. I go there every weekend because this place is that good. Getting to know Veronica and her story behind kuih was incredible. Her skills are impressive. If you want pandan in the city then this is the place, the best place for pandan. Malaysian desserts? This is the place. The menu changes every weekend so make sure to check their IG and just go and order the whole menu.
Compact unassuming Malaysian spot for authentic dessert! I came looking for pan dan flavored goodies and got a pan dan mousse cake. However the pan dan flavor didn’t not stand out as it should. A little disappointed.
The owner is very nice and the desserts are very tasty and refreshing. All handmade with fresh ingredients.
Only open 3 days per week from 12-6pm F-Su as per the owner because all are handmade only by the owner herself.
Menu change weekly and owner will update through Instagram.
Absolutely worth coming.
Better come early, some come at 930am to wait for some yearly specialty
Hidden gem in Chinatown....
Happened here by chance. Was looking for curry chicken instead found $13 Nasi Lemak Pandan = coconut flavored rice with anchovies. Pretty Damn good 👍. $8 Ice Chendol was all the rage ⚡️. Ideal to combat the summer heat. This hole in the wall is quite busy. Outdoor seating for 6 people. It appears the ice drinks & desserts here are a big hit 💥💥
I came at the end of the day by chance. The snacks are so good! Lots of options if you like Asian sweets or Pandan and coconut flavors. I tried their kuih set (includes 2 pcs of pulut tai tai, Pandan magic, and ubi kayu—all very fragrant and unique in texture), peanut cookies (nice and crumbly with lots of peanut flavor), blue pea flower cheesecake (reminds me of no bake cheesecakes), sesame and Earl grey burnt cheesecake. All so good! 🤤
Their rotating menu adds a lot of variety and the owner is so sweet and lovely! I can’t wait to come back and try more!
